Winter Running
It looks like Winter has decided to pay us a visit this year! (Last year we got off easy.) Please keep a few things in mind as we run through the Winter months. Wear something reflective so cars can see you: all black is never good. Watch your footing while we are doing our workouts. Keep your stride length natural (shorter) to keep your balance: you are less likely to lose your balance the more your legs are underneath you and not spread out too far apart. We will focus more on form and less on speed over the first part of the year. You don't want to get burnt out killing yourself going hard every Tuesday night, so think about good form in January and February, then start building some speed into it if you plan to race this Spring or Summer.
